Get continued experience in leading a small group. Each small group will likely include people with a wide variety of spiritual backgrounds and levels of engagement. The dynamic of leading these 3 different small groups will give you practice creating healthy small group culture.
The Full Time Team prays for you and pours into you from the time we hire you until the end of the summer. You will be encouraged, challenged, and championed in your personal and spiritual growth by the Full Time Team and Team Leads throughout the summer and beyond.
You’ll get to know alumni from the previous few classes! Some of the strongest friendships for Fellows alumni have emerged from working a summer together.
You’ll get the opportunity to share the Gospel with students in your small group, but also as a part of our programming! You will get to model for your students what courageous spiritual conversations look like on our Immersion evangelism day.
Because our summer experiences only span a 6-week time period (starting in early June and ending in late July), you’ll have several weeks at the beginning and end of summer programming to travel or spend time with family.
Get paid minimum wage to work summer camp! This doesn't feel like a perk, but most camps pay a stipend which comes out to less than $5/hour. We pay time and a half for overtime, which adds to your typical hourly rate. (You’ll work about 85 hours a week during our 4 weeks of camp, plus 40 hours a week for our two training weeks. You do the math.)
"One of the most valuable things I’ve gained from working with Impact 360 camps is learning how to build strong, intentional relationships even in a short amount of time."
- Marvin Davis
"Being on summer staff taught me that God is always working alongside me in discipleship. If I have the Holy Spirit, I cannot doubt His ability to build up the body of Christ through me!"
- Valentine King
"As I walked alongside students and was able to help them learn the truths of the gospel, apologetics, leadership skills and evangelism tools, I was reminded how important faithful, long-term obedience to Christ really is."
- Anna Dinn
